Shore was founded in Munich in 2012. The management team is composed of a small group of varied personalities with differing skills and competences. They all have the same professional goal of achieving that perfect customer experience. Shore lives by this motto in every aspect and each day we take and implement decisions that make the daily business of service providers easier.  We make innovation accessible even to smaller businesses.

Alexander Henn

Co-founder and managing director Alexander Henn is mainly responsible for markets, marketing and business development. He first accessed the digital world during the stock market boom in 1999 with the Boersen-Investor.de exchange platform and founded the first German shop for vitamin products at the age of 15. He later founded other companies such as the online shop Libute.de and Xantera AG. This young entrepreneur graduated from high school by taking evening classes in Munich and then, in addition to his professional activity, studied law at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich. During his free time, Alexander Henn devotes himself to politics and history and relaxes listening to classical or electronic music.

Philip Magoulas is a co-founder and managing director of Shore. He is responsible for the business operations and the development of new business models. Before starting his professional career, Philip studied Economics at the University of Hannover and Finance at California State Polytechnic University. Philip became an internet entrepreneur out of a deep conviction that we are only at the beginnings of digitalization. Previous professional stations were the Boston Consulting Group and Zalando - the internet mail order company.  His personal interests are history, psychology and music; in addition he loves to stay in shape by running and playing football.

Claudia Kock is CFO of Shore. Prior to Shore Claudia gained 20 years of experience as Finance Director in global corporations such as Arthur Andersen, Salomon Smith Barney and Allianz Global Investors. The last couple of years she also devoted her time to working with start-ups and scaling of tech businesses as well as mentoring at various accelerators.

Claudia gained her master's degree in business at the University of Hamburg, passed her CPA exams in the United States and is a trained coach.

In her spare time Claudia is passionate about outdoor sports, including hiking and mountain biking in addition to playing the piano and travelling.

At Shore Alexander Bartels is the VP Partnerships & Key Accounts and responsible for winning over and supporting major customers and developing long-term partnerships. Before that, he was the Senior Channel Development Manager for developing indirect B2B marketing channels at Vodafone. He also acquired a considerable track record at CVH Chemie-Vertrieb Hannover in Key Account Management. This is where he, for instance, won over and supported major international concerns. Alexander Bartels studied International Business at Hannover. He also obtained an MBA at the ESADA Business School in Barcelona which involved a one-semester term of study in Hong Kong. In his leisure time he enjoys running, playing football and travelling.

Sebastian Nienaber is CEO at Shore USA and VP for the Value Chain department and has shown interest in entrepreneurship and digital technologies from a very young age. When reading Economics in London he founded various affiliate websites to fund his studies. After graduating, he began working as an "Entrepreneur in Residence" at Rocket Internet – today the biggest of the business incubators in the world. Sebastian left Rocket in 2010 and then worked for several years as a freelance consultant for different start-ups. In his free time, Nienaber takes an interest in meditation and psychology. He loves skiing and hiking and would like to learn to surf in his new home town of Los Angeles.

The sales professional has a wide-ranging managerial track record. This he has proved to date in his career with, for instance, Couponing provider Daily Deal and also with Red Bull as one of the non-Online industries. Born in Vienna, he graduated with a Bachelor degree from a distance learning programme at the Fern-Universität Hamburg (distance teaching university) in Business Administration and Business Psychology. As a presentation specialist, he is also very keen on history, coaching and communication. He also has time for rock music and the most varied of sports such as crossfit and surfing.

Benjamin Bachhuber is the VP of Technology at Shore. As one of the first employees of the Munich start-up, he and Niklas Rickmann took on responsibility for development of the entire software. Before this, he was involved in founding the Vienna start-up of apontos.com. where he worked as the Lead Developer. His first step up the career ladder was working for Siemens on a major US automation research project at Princeton, New Jersey.
Benjamin Bachhuber is a specialist for client and server-side development. He also masters a large number of programming languages and extensive technological background knowledge. He acquired the theoretical side of matters at Landshut University with his Bachelor of Computer Sciences degree and at the Technical University of Vienna under a Master's course of study in Computer Sciences. In his leisure time he likes reading detective stories and goes to the fitness center. He is currently busy learning Portuguese.

Niklas Rickmann is the Director of Product Management and together with Benjamin Bachhuber manages Shore's software development. As the Product Management and Design specialist, he is responsible for the vision, conceptual design, development and launching of Shore solutions. Before joining the Munich start-up, the digital expert - who personally likes to try out a host of trends and innovations - was jointly responsible for CHECK24's Product Management. He also brought his expertise to bear as a freelance consultant at the "Süddeutsche Zeitung" and Süddeutsche.de. Even during his course of studies into "Media & Communication Management" and "Digital Management", he was familiar with various web projects.
Surfing, diving, football, hiking and snowboarding are what he is passionate about during his free time.

Niels Denefleh, Head of Growth, is responsible for all of the in-house consulting at Shore. Furthermore, he adopts an external perspective with his team, analyzing relevant market developments for Shore and checking strategic cooperations. After his dual studies at IBM, the crime stories fan worked as a management consultant at Innovalue, where he concentrated on the payment market. Subsequently, he acted as Managing Director of the start-up Yoints in Hamburg. In his free time he enjoys listening to German rap, running, cycling and snowboarding. However, he also appreciates some quiet time and a good book.
