To send emails with advertising content (such as newsletters) to customers, you must obtain their active consent. In technical terms, this is called a "double opt-in," meaning a double confirmation that someone wants to receive a newsletter. You can send a corresponding confirmation or registration request to your customers using our email feature. If a customer actively signs up for your newsletter through this, you're allowed to send it to them.

You have two options here:

1. Customers can sign up for your newsletter via a small checkbox on your Shore booking page. They'll then automatically receive an email through which they can confirm their newsletter subscription.

2. Your customer can also sign up for the newsletter verbally. For example, ask them at the end of their appointment if they'd like to receive your newsletter. If they agree, you can send a confirmation email directly to them. Once they confirm the registration through this email, you're allowed to send them newsletters.

In both cases, the so-called "double opt-in," meaning the double confirmation for newsletter registration, is fulfilled.

Yes. Our email feature is directly linked to our customer database. So if you want to send a newsletter to a specific customer group, you can (but don't have to) instruct Shore to automatically insert the customer's first or last name in the greeting. This way, every customer receives a personal welcome.

You can of course also determine the recipients of a newsletter (and any other email) individually. If you want to send an email to a specific list of customers that you haven't grouped together in the customer database, you can simply select them individually.
