A lot happens in the calendar – appointments are booked, moved, or cancelled. And that’s exactly where things used to get confusing for many salons and studios. Our product team in Munich and Berlin picked up on the most common feedback of the past months: “I want to see what was cancelled – and by whom.”

What’s new?
From now on, cancelled appointments remain visible in the calendar.
They’re no longer removed automatically. Instead, they appear in white so you can clearly recognize them as cancelled.
You’ll also see icons that show who cancelled the appointment:
- Calendar icon: the client cancelled
- Person icon: a team member cancelled it internally
This gives you immediate clarity about where the appointment came from and why it’s no longer happening.
Why we made this change
In many conversations with our community, we heard the same concerns:
“When an appointment disappears, I lose track of what happened.”
Especially during busy times, it helps to understand:
- Who cancelled?
- Was the appointment changed internally?
- Was information lost along the way?
Visible cancellations bring clarity.
Nothing disappears without your knowledge – everything is documented.
More transparency in your daily work
Visible cancellations help you with:
Better understanding
You instantly see why a time slot became available. This prevents misunderstandings within the team and with clients.
A calmer day
No searching, no guessing, no “Who deleted this appointment?”
Everything stays right where it was – clear and easy to follow.
And what if you really want it gone?
Super simple: you can still manually delete any cancelled appointment permanently.
This keeps your calendar exactly as clean as you want it.
For teams with multiple locations
If you manage multiple locations:
Each calendar only shows the cancellations that are relevant for that location.
This keeps things structured and easy to understand everywhere.
A small update with a big impact
Sometimes it’s the simple changes that make everyday work noticeably easier.
With visible cancellations, you gain more control, more clarity, and less stress.
