Customers can now reschedule their own appointment with Shore, right from the link in their booking confirmation. No rescheduling calls, no need to cancel and rebook appointments.

What's new?

The booking confirmation mail used to have one button: "Cancel appointment." Now there's "Reschedule appointment" too.

Customers land straight on the calendar, pick a new day and time, done. No new form, no repeat payment. Name, contact, and payment are already on file.

How it works for your customers

Service, duration, and price stay the same. Only the date and time change, and the staff member too, if you allow it. Works for single appointments and courses, any number of times.

Your deadline still applies

Rescheduling follows the same limit you've already set for cancellations. A 24-hour limit means an appointment on the 12th at 3pm can be rescheduled up to the 11th at 3pm. After that, only through you directly.

You're never bound by this limit yourself. You can reschedule any appointment, any time, through your calendar.

Prepayments stay intact

Full payment already made: stays linked to the new appointment, no new charge. Deposit only: final payment becomes due at the new time. No payment confirmed yet: rescheduling doesn't trigger one either.

What you should know

If a customer abandons the process, the original appointment stands, no notification sent. Past appointments still lead to the feedback page. Recurring appointments remain something only you can reschedule.

Please be aware: Recurring appointments can't be changed yet. Also the number of people attending can't be changed by the customer on his own.
For you, this means fewer calls, less cancel-and-rebook, less manual deposit tracking. Your settings don't change, they just now cover both.
